*Ocflute-Alto in C in Cocobolo
About This Product
Overview
My Alto OcFlute (ocarina/flute) is in the key of C and has two sub-holes giving it a range of A4 to Eb6. The left little finger operates the sub-holes taking the range from the tonic note of C down to B and A.
This instrument is made from beautiful Cocobolo wood, a fine rosewood from Central America.
With this new instrument I am, in a way, returning to my roots in that I started out turning wooden recorders and flutes in 1975. The OcFlute combines the beautiful tone of the ocarina with the elegant lathe-turned profile found on 18th century woodwinds.
A thick corduroy drawstring carrying bag is included. A fingering chart is available HERE.
