Sweet Potato Ocarinas
There is a mysterious quality to the shape of these unique instruments.
Visually they are both stimulating and captivating. Is it sculpture? Is it
art? Is it musical? Yes, it's all of these...and more. The free-flowing form
is comforting and satisfying to hold. It more than fits into your hand, it
melts into your soul. Very soon you will find yourself becoming one with
this instrument. The sound is rich and mellow...from the soprano with its
pure, sweet tone to the bass with its soft resonance, each sweet potato is
painstakingly voiced and accurately tuned for optimal tonal quality.
These extraordinary ocarinas are recognized worldwide as unique works of musical art. Each instrument is stamped on the INSIDE with JC HIND, the date it was made, and a serial number identifying it in the chronological listing of Hind's instruments. Collectors have long appreciated this sequential list, because it precisely establishes the exact day the instrument was made. Traditionally, such documented collector's items have been highly prized and have increased steadily in value over time.
I offer Sweet Potato ocarinas in five sizes: Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Bass, and Double. Not all sizes are available at all times.
