Papageno Flutes ~ Papageno Pipes
About This Product
Overview
My Papageno Pipes are made of fine African Sapele wood. Musically, they are a faithful rendition of the pipes played in Mozart's opera The Magic Flute. They are tuned to the key of G and play five notes, g5-d6. Each tone is crisp and clear, and the pitch of each note is easily adjustable using the sliding tuners. Watch the video at the bottom of this page to hear the pipes in action. The instrument comes with a thick corduroy drawstring carrying bag for protection and has a cord attached for hanging around the neck.

So beautifully made, well crafted, beautiful sound, beautiful everything! Used this pipe in 3 performances of the CSU Fullerton production of The Magic Flute. Product made and sent quickly, months in advanced before opening weekend. Professional work! Thanks

They are exquisite looking, sound clear and crisp, and are tuneable so I can use them for all of those [historically inaccurate] modern tuning Magic Flute productions as well.

Charlie,
Thank you so much for your willingness to help us out with the pan pipes! They arrived in time for this weekend's technical rehearsal and the tenor & the maestro flipped on how good they sound! The tenor plays this part often and has asked for your information - I think he'd like to own some to take with him wherever he goes!
Thanks again!

Great instrument. Stable, reliable, sounds good. Well crafted, will last forever. Worth every cent to have it "live" on stage. Few other choices too....
