Inline Alto Ocarina Kit

I have prepared this ocarina kit for you with great precision. All
that is needed on your part is some minor cleanup before assembly.
Have a look at the pictures below and you will see that after
machining, some wood fibers are stuck in certain areas. These can be
removed very easily with a small file or sandpaper. The pictures
below show the same part before cleanup and after. Each operation
took only a few seconds to accomplish. |

The inside of the chamber can be sealed with any kind of wood sealer like varnish or lacquer. I like to use a lacquer based sanding sealer because it dries in just a few minutes. The glue I use is called Titebond III. It is an easy to use yellow wood that is waterproof. For finishing the outside, I use Minwax Antique Oil Finish, but any good wood finishing product will work fine. Many woodworkers like Tung Oil, and some prefer to finish with plain Linseed Oil. The picture below shows the exact products I use.
