Walnut Inline Ocarinas

Wood imparts to the ocarina an amazingly pure and mellow tone quality, and the instrument has the warm and comforting feel that only comes from wood. My ocarinas speak effortlessly and have a nice even tone from the lowest notes to the highest.

Wood also makes these instruments much lighter weight than clay or ceramic ocarinas of the same size, so they are easier to hold and play. If you have ever been afraid of dropping your ceramic ocarina, your mind will be more at ease while playing my wooden instruments.

Each ocarina comes with a fingering chart and complete care instructions. A thick corduroy drawstring bag is also provided so it will be well protected when stored for safe-keeping.

Junior Ocarina

The Junior ocarina plays the full chromatic scale using six holes (four on the front and two on the back. It has a range of a ninth (15 notes). Click image at left for larger views and more information.

G-Soprano Ocarina

The G-Soprano sounds four notes lower than the Junior, so its tone is a little sweeter and not as shrill.

D-Soprano Ocarina

The D-Soprano is a larger version of the Soprano and is pitched half way between the G-Soprano and the B-flat Alto. It's tone is more mellow than the G-Soprano, but brighter and sweeter than the alto. Click the thumbnail at left for larger views.

Bb Alto Ocarina

The Alto Ocarina has a mellow and melodic tone. Its simple, intuitive fingering system and pocket size makes it a great first instrument. It is amazing light weight and easy to play.
