Ocflute - Inlaid Alto in C - Cocobolo and Maple
About This Product
My Alto OcFlute (ocarina/flute) is in the key of C and has one sub-hole giving it a range of B4 to E6. The left little finger operates the sub-hole taking the range from the tonic note of C down to B. It also features a double hole for the right hand little finger to facilitate the playing of C#/Db.
This special instrument is inlaid with maple which has been cut into the shape of diamonds.
With this new instrument I am, in a way, returning to my roots in that I started out turning wooden recorders and flutes in 1975. The OcFlute combines the beautiful tone of the ocarina with the elegant lathe-turned profile found on 18th century woodwinds.
It is made of beautiful cocobolo wood from Central America. A thick corduroy drawstring carrying bag and fingering chart are included. See the fingering chart Here
